Founded by Benjamin Toews right here in Calgary, Localite is all about creating small-batch preserves that bring a little extra joy to your pantry. With over 15 years of experience in food manufacturing and a deep love for the craft, Benjamin started Localite to share the magic of pickling, preserving, and celebrating the best of Alberta’s harvest.
Every jar from Localite tells a story. Their jams, jellies, pickles, and sauces are made in small batches with care, using locally grown produce whenever possible. Benjamin and his team are keeping alive the timeless tradition of preserving—something that connects us to our roots and the simple pleasure of sharing wholesome, handmade food with family and friends.
