Over the next two weeks, Gurdi will be making an appearance somewhere on our brand new website (and no, it’s not this page!). Spotting her will earn you entries toward winning a $500 local vendor gift basket packed with products, treats, and experiences from amazing businesses in our community.
How the Contest Works
There are a couple of easy ways to enter:
- Spot Gurdi – 20 Entries
Find Gurdi on our website and send us a message through our contact form to let us know where you spotted her. Every confirmed sighting earns you 20 contest entries. - Social Shares & Tags – 1 Entry Each
Want even more chances to win? Share our contest post on social media or tag friends in the comments. Every valid tag or share counts as 1 additional contest entry. Be sure to tag us so we can track your entries properly.
The Prize
One lucky winner will receive a $500 gift basket built entirely from local vendors and businesses. We’re putting together a prize package that’s visual, fun, and full of great products from companies in our community. From local favourites to hidden gems, the basket will showcase some of the best businesses around.
Supporting Local All the Way
During the two week contest period, we’ll also be featuring some of the local vendors contributing to the prize basket. Watch our Instagram account for posts highlighting the businesses helping make this giveaway possible.
It’s a fun way to support local while giving everyone a chance to win something exciting.

Contest Disclaimer & Rules
No purchase necessary. The “Find Gurdi” Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory at the time of entry. Contest begins and ends on the dates specified in the official contest announcement.
Participants may earn contest entries through the following methods:
- 20 entries for locating Gurdi and submitting the correct information through the official contact form.
- 1 entry for each eligible social media tag, share, mention, or repost related to the contest promotion, provided the contest organizer can verify the interaction.
- Participants may enter multiple times through eligible actions during the contest period.
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received before the contest closing date. The winner will receive a local vendor gift basket valued at approximately $500 CAD. Prize contents may vary based on vendor availability and cannot be exchanged for cash or substituted.
By participating, entrants agree to allow the contest organizer to repost, share, and use submitted photos, tags, usernames, and contest-related content for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or any other social media platform used to promote the contest.
